Types of putty

1. Silly Putty 

Silly Putty is a toy based on silicone polymers that have unusual physical properties. It bounces, but it breaks when given a sharp blow, and it can also flow like a liquid. It contains a viscoelastic liquid silicone, a type of non-Newtonian fluid, which makes it act as a viscous liquid over a long time period but as an elastic solid over a short time period

Epoxy putty refers to a group of room-temperature-hardening substances used as space-filling adhesives. Exact compositions vary according to manufacturer and application. They are stored until use as two components of clay-like consistency.

3. Wood putty

Wood putty, also called plastic wood, is a substance used to fill imperfections, such as nail holes, in wood prior to finishing. It is often composed of wood dust combined with a binder that dries and a diluent (thinner), and, sometimes, pigment. Pore fillers used for large flat surfaces such as floors or table tops generally contain silica instead of or in addition to wood dust. Pores can also be filled using multiple coats of the final finish rather than a pore filler.

There are two types of wall putties

1. Simple wall putty
2. Waterproof wall putty

Simple wall putty is made from cement and normal raw products . Some chemicals and polymers also included in it for better result, due to which putty putty do good covering and work smooth also.

Waterproof wall putty is the category of plastic cover, in other words we can say the film of waterproof putty as well as plastic wall putty  , which is made with the help of polymers and waterproofing , with which it resist to water from wall. Generally, this is the water resistance putty.

How to make ?

First of all , we will take some putty and put it into a cane or bucket  , after that we will take some water and add into a putty’s cane. Shake a few minutes with hand or any putty knife. When the water will properly dissolve into a wall putty, the mixture is ready to work, you can manage the mixture according to wall like as gough or tight. After than you can apply to it and take a good finishing.

Note: – please don’t apply putty on dry walls, in summer days we recommended spray water on cemented walls.
